I am an ambassador for Jesus Christ. This is above everything else, no matter the cost to me. Wow, that is easier typed than lived. By the grace of God as a Christian I walk in humble obedience to God and to his word. Though the world around me seems to be growing further and further away from what God has desired for us.
Is there a time any greater than now, to fulfill my duty as a representative? Our bible, and I say our realizing that there is a real possibility that someone may read this who does not claim God, nor finds his word to be significant for them and their life. None-the-less, I believe that the word is offered to us all, though some will choose to disregard it. It's to the believer first that I owe living upright and Holy (not a popular thought)-- righteous in the eyes of God, and then to the unbeliever. My brothers and sisters in Christ need support, as well as I need the support from my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Christ no longer walks this Earth.......but the believers do. The converted, the new creatures in Christ. Who am I? I am a child of the King. I have hope for a future, and I live an abundant life today. Temptation is still alive, but greater is he that is in me, than he who is in the world. I struggle at times, and I admit this with a humble heart. I realize my own weaknesses, which helps me to rely on God that much more. Who am I? I am the called, I am one of many who strive to do right before God, for the greater cause of spreading the good news to the world. My desire is to help others realize their need for God, and then lead them to him. I know not all will believe. I know their are doubters, nay-sayers, I'm not blind to the fact that many will never follow. I believe many believe that there is a God --- but may never recognize "The" God, and believing that he is there is one thing--- choosing to live for him is another. God will never force us to live for him, he wants us to live for him out of choice. I firmly believe "To know God-- is to Love God". I can say honestly, I love God! I love his character, his consistency, his faithfulness to me, he deserves better than what I can give him. Knowing how wonderful God is--- sometimes it is painful to watch what goes on around us.
My religion is not something I can separate. It's not simply a book I can pick up, or put down at my discretion. My love for God, and the life that I live, directly reflect who I am. I am a Christian, I can't lay that down to avoid offending someone. It is who I am. I believe our relationship with God is misunderstood more often that not. Many people have walked and claimed to be Christian, and yet laid their Christianity down for others.
Who am I--- I am an imperfect human, who is a born again believer.

Not Popular But--- What would you do??
I stand continually amazed at how our President is bashed over and over and over again. I'll be the first to admit that I don't agree with every decision he has made, but I do think that he has this countries best interest at heart.
We're caught in a media frenzy that loves to bash the President. You can look at things however you like, but we have to go back to 911. What would you do? We've been threatened for years, and here is a country with a leader who has already unleashed on his own people. I don't like war, but ---- and that's a big but--- if not war then what's the cost?
We've lost better than 3000 troops in Iraq- and this is a terrible tragedy- but it's war. I wished this were a perfect world- but its not. Terrorist brought the war to our front door, and like it or not there are more out there, who are ready to blow us to bits- in the name of some foreign god.
We have an all Volunteer Military--who when asked most would tell you, they support their President. Ask the military, and they'll tell you, we need more troops to gain some stability, so when ground is cleared, we have troops there to maintain that stability.
Was our President and leaders to ignore the tragedy? Are we to just quit, because the going is tough? Those that are ready to just quit, and lay back, I ask you this as a Peaceful man---- Do you think that the enemy is going to lay back and quit? They are bold in what they say, they're gunning for us- they believe that they are doing it on the behalf of their god. They'll strap a bomb on, and blow up themselves along with everyone around them, to hurt or cripple this country of ours.
I support you Mr. President, and I still respect the position you hold. Our prayers are with you.
The enemy isn't our President-- it's those who have this Country in their sites- and if I have the choice, I'd rather the war be on their soil than on ours.
